Position: Construction Engineer

Job Description:

• Observe, keep track, and provide timely construction related project progress reports to the management

• Involve in project planning, implementation, and close monitoring of projects

• Collaborate with contractor and consultants with regards to work progress, work acceptance, plan approval, encountered issues and other relevant matters

• Review, coordinate and comment on contractor’s drawings and other submittals

• Monitoring resources on site, like equipment, manpower and sub-contractors, ensuring that sufficiency, availability and performance are aligned with the schedule.

• Ensure safety performance of contractors on the construction site.

• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, resolving any problems that arise.

• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Senior Engineer.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field

• Have relevant experience in a similar role

• Meticulous with strong analytical skills and able to multi-task

• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure

• Team player with initiative, willingness to learn and take on responsibilities

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is a must
