Position: Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
• To source for quotation from specialists/sub-contractors/suppliers, prepare comparison, negotiate, and award contracts.
• Understand and reasonably interpret contract document & drawing
• Understand contract provision thoroughly and advise the risk/areas of concern
• Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
• Attend meetings on site and with consultants
• Project budget and analyse the cash flow of the project
• Monitor progress of work
• To liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, and internal departments in resolving project development and technical issues.
• To ensure proper documentation of all records.
• Reviews tender documents / requests for proposals to understand project details and requirements
• Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
• To handle all other QS related works and assigned duties as required.
Requirements:
• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
• Meticulous and details oriented
• Good communication skills
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field is required.
• Good technical knowledge for measurement, cost estimating and construction technology.
• Possess IT skills, such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and etc.
