KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
l Assist in central kitchen operations from food preparation to final product
l Focus on food & ingredients preparation such as seasoning & marinating of meat, chopping and peeling of vegetables and more (according to food menu requirement)
l Assist Sous Chef in developing SOP for central kitchen in ensuring smooth production of food orders for various outlets and 3rd party orders
l Ensure high standards of food preparation, quality and consistency
l Manage daily/weekly/monthly stock take/kitchen inventory
l Ensure the correct rotation by FIFO and maintain stock level of all food products
l Ensure quality of dishes at all stages of preparation, presentation, hygiene and safety
l Ensure all operational activities adhere to relevant legislations, health & safety regulations and licensing conditions
l Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
l Good knowledge in Chinese and Western cuisines
l Minimum 1-3 years of working experience as cook/chef/Kitchen crew (preparation work)
l Possess Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
l WSQ holders for F&B Cutlery with 1-2yrs experience are also welcomed to apply
l Familiar or skilled in using kitchen equipment such as conventional oven, electric stove, air fryer,dishwasher machine etc
l Bilingual in speaking English and Mandarin
l Comfortable working 6 days a week including weekends, eve of Public Holidays and Public Holidays
l Comfortable working in night shift
l Possess strong team spirit and excellent communication at all levels
l Self-motivated and pro-active
Working hours: 6 days a week
Time: 2pm-11pm as a start
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $2,000.00 - $3,200.00 per month
Working location: NEX Serangoon
